Starting in business - Let's Talk seminar

Budding entrepreneurs in North Somerset are being urged to attend a free March seminar that will help equip them with the tools they need to help their new business take off.

“Let’s Talk Starting In Business, which is sponsored by Barclays and free to delegates, will be run by North Somerset Enterprise Agency.

Whether delegates are considering setting up as a sole trader, partnership or limited company, the seminar will provide help and encouragement on essential issues such as how to write a good business plan, sourcing finance, managing cash flow, taxation, VAT and marketing.

“If you know what you want to do and believe you can do it this seminar can really help.” explains North Somerset Enterprise Agency’s Chief Executive Angela Hicks. “Statistics show that businesses who seek advice in their early stages are far more likely to succeed so we hope that anyone who is thinking about self-employment or wants to run their own organisation will come along and pick up valuable and practical advice.”

Delegates will also have the opportunity to get free information, talk to other local new business starters and swop experience and contacts.
